evaluating

brand id

im pretty happy with my brand id as it has a n underlying concept which i think is really strong and can stand alone. i still think though that the logo with the text needs improving im not 100 percent happy with it yet. on the other hand i like the fact that the it has a detachable logo as it not just saying the name.

the characters

after spending quite a long time deciding on these characters im really happy and i think its an idea that can have a future by having more characters. i did start a rock and roll wolf but never finished it as i werent happy with it. the reasons for this was that it was more like the elephant in the way thats its a lot simpler than the lion which with its guitar has a lot more strength to it and many people liked more, i think the elephant needs more development too as it was the first one i did, maybe adding instruments like drums. but i also find that narrows my target audience down but having musical instruments.

the t-shirts

these arent all the t-shirts, there are on the concept sheet, but i quite like the idea of having a diverse style to fit everyone but still linking with each other. the t shirts are something that id actually wear and had quite a few people asking for me to print one up for them which is really cool but also makes me think outside of what just i want.

 the tags

the idea behind the tags didnt come till the very end. the idea of having a name for the t shirts and not just the characters such as the bold and the colourful which i think really works, i could probably have thought a little deeper about the names of them but i wanted to keep it simple at the time as the ideas were a bit more complex
