assemblage

i really did not get along with assemblage i just could get my head around it, to me it just looked like a load of junk shoved together and reminded me of when i was younger and my brother would create animals and things out of stuff i found whereas i would choose the more traditional technique of just drawing what i wanted. i think if i was to use he idea of using 'junk' within my work, it would have to be mixed in with more traditional techniques such as plaster or clay
